A bstract We study Fateev-Zamolodchikov-Zamolodchikov-Teschner (FZZT) branes in Witten-Kontsevich topological gravity, which includes Jackiw-Teitelboim (JT) gravity as a special case. Adding FZZT to corresponds inserting determinant operators the dual matrix integral and amounts certain shift of infinitely many couplings gravity. clarify perturbative interpretation adding genus expansion terms simple boundary factor generalized Weil-Petersson volumes.
